Tarwi is an Andean legume with an amino acid profile as complete as that of animal proteins. It contains all nine essential amino acids, as well as fiber, calcium, iron, and magnesium, making it a natural source of energy and recovery.

It is an Andean root that grows at more than 4,000 meters above sea level in the Peruvian Andes. The gelatinized version undergoes a natural process that facilitates its digestion and absorption, without losing its nutrients.
